ROCKFISH SINGLE BARREL SELECT

Rockfish was searching for a client gift that was unexpected, memorable, and one-of-a-kind. We found the answer in the form of top-shelf bourbon with custom-designed gift wrap.

Working with Julian Van Winkle III himself—president of the legendary Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery and maker of Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve bourbon—we hand-selected a barrel of bourbon that we then bottled and branded as the first-ever Rockfish line of Old Weller bourbon.

To make the bottle a truly unique gift, we wanted it to tell the story of how our agency’s own history parallels that of the Van Winkles. This story unfolds through a custom-designed paper wrap that pulls in the reader as they unwrap.

The design was finished with hand-tied ribbon, a limited-number stamped gift tag, and a custom debossed leather coaster. This work was recognized at the 2015 Cincinnati Addy Awards with a gold award in the Self-Promotion category.
